I am an investment advisor with Precedence Capital and Harbourfront Wealth Management Inc., and I’m licensed for insurance solutions. I also am currently working toward my financial planner designation.
Giving back to the community is important to me. I currently volunteer with the Royal University Hospital Foundation as a member of its board of directors. I also sit as a member on the YMCA board of directors. I previously volunteered on the Nutana Community Association board of directors in several positions, including the final four years as president. I also fill minor volunteer positions with my childrens’ sports teams. I’ve coached several different sports over the last three decades, most recently helping over 400 athletes compete in marathon running events. I am an avid sports fan, but I’m happiest when I’m participating. I’ve finished more than 100 triathlons, including four Ironman events. I am an avid cyclist and a terrible golfer.
Although I grew up in Regina, I am a 30-year Saskatoon resident, living in Nutana with my wife, Juliet Sarjeant, our three kids and a dog. Something unusual about me is that I do not care which way the toilet paper goes on the roller, but I can’t stand it if anyone leaves the toothpaste cap messy. Admittedly, this is a complicated scenario for any spouse to deal with.
