Oniel Kuku

Oniel is Investment Advisor with Harbourfront Wealth Management. In his current role, Oniel is responsible for providing institutional grade portfolio insights to advisors and high net worth clients. He specializes in portfolio transitions, UMA implementation, and analytical support, working cross functionally to deliver scalable, risk aware investment solutions aligned with governance and client objectives. Prior to joining Harbourfront Wealth in 2025, Oniel held positions as Wealth Advisor, Wealth Planning Associate and Wealth Associate with well-known industry firms. He started his career in Client Services with Invesco Canada. Oniel earned his Bachelor of Economics from the University of Prince Edward Island, and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. He also earned his Certificate in Advanced Investment Advice with the Canadian Securities Institute. In his personal life, Oniel spends time running, lifting weights and spending time outdoors.

James Harrison

Jim Harrison founded KJH Investors as K.J. Harrison & Partners Inc. in 2001. Jim manages the KJH Founders Fund (formerly KJH Sweet Sixteen Fund) and The KJH Energy Partners Fund. Prior to founding KJH Investors, Jim was the Chief Executive Officer at Connor Clark Ltd., a publicly traded financial services company. In 1999, Jim led the sale of the firm to Royal Bank of Canada. Jim was a gold medalist graduate in the LL.B., M.B.A. program at the University of Western Ontario. In his leisure time, Jim is dedicated to maintaining his low golf handicap and enjoys spending time with his wife and three adult children.

Stephen R. Binder

Niko Markakis

Niko Markakis is a Portfolio Manager on the KJH Investors team at Harbourfront Wealth. He was part of the KJ Harrison team, joining the firm full-time in January 2023 after completing his final co-op term with the team as a research analyst as part of his university program. Through his co-op experience, Niko developed a broad foundation across the financial industry, including roles as an M&A and Strategy Analyst at George Weston Limited, an Investment Analyst at Cannect Inc., and in Sales Advisory at Fidelity Investments. He also served as the Laurier Head of Investa Insights, an intercollegiate investment club with chapters at leading business schools. Niko is passionate about advising high-net-worth and multi-generational families on the strategic allocation of their capital, with a focus on compounding returns while thoughtfully managing risk.

Connor Byrne

Philip J. Olsson

Philip Olsson is a Senior Portfolio Manager with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, not only as an investor but also as an investment banker—including his role as Vice Chairman of RBC Dominion Securities—as well as a commercial banker and private equity principal. Joel Clark

Joel works closely with clients as a Senior Portfolio Manager, managing discretionary investment portfolios for a significant base of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families across Canada. Earlier in his career, Joel was an Analyst at Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation, where he underwrote commercial real estate financing opportunities and arranged placements with third-party Canadian financial institutions. He joined KJ Harrison Investors at its inception in 2002 and, over more than two decades, played a key role in building the firm from $80 million to $2.3 billion in assets under management.
