As CEO of Harbourfront Wealth Holdings, Danny Popescu is responsible for the business operations of five underlying businesses, The Harbourfront Group of Companies, including its Investment Dealer, Asset Management Firm, and US investment arm.

In 2013, Danny founded an IIROC investment dealership called Harbourfront Wealth Management, to bring pension type investment vehicles such as private equity, private real estate, and private credit to Canadian retail investors.

Danny launched Harbourfront with an $11 million personal investment and within 9 years, established a $425 million enterprise value when Boston-based Private Equity firm, Audax Group bought a stake in the firm.

With approximately 335+ employees in 39+ branches across Canada, Harbourfront is a rapidly growing independent dealer now on track to establish a $1.5 billion enterprise value by 2027.

As a philanthropist, Danny is the Founder and Director of Harbourfront Gives Foundation which raises money for a number of Canadian charities. The Harbourfront Gives Foundation has donated over 700K to 60+ charities as of November 2024.
