Wes Ashton is Co-Founder and Director of Growth Strategy at Harbourfront Wealth Management.

As Senior Portfolio Manager, Wes gives individuals peace of mind when it comes to finances. Wes oversees advisors across Harbourfront’s Canadian branches and is the principal of Harbourfront’s most extensive client practice, overseeing $650 million in assets, as of November 1, 2021. In addition to sitting on Harbourfront’s Investment Committee, Wes holds the CIM (Chartered Investment Manager) designation as well as the FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute) designation.

Wes prioritizes building relationships with his clients as he works with them to better their lives. His goal is to take the stress of managing finances away from individuals so they can enjoy the things that matter most to them.

Wes specializes in defensive portfolio construction as well as trusts and tax minimization planning, and he has delivered several wealth management lectures to industry professionals, including the Telus Agency Summit and Private Wealth Vancouver Forum.
