Chad graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Regina with a major in Finance in 2013. Chad was selected as a member to the Paul J Hill School of Business team which competed against other Universities at the annual JDC West competition. He joined the University of Regina’s investing program where he was a Fund Manager in the Financial Sector.

After graduation, Chad opened and operated his own business in Regina working for over 30 homebuilders. In 2015 Chad was enticed by Travis Cuthbert and Larry Jensen to join their financial planning team here at Mercator Financial. Chad received his Certified Financial Planning designation in 2018. He also has his Canadian securities course and life license.

Chad specializes in working with individuals and couples that are 3 to 5 years from retirement to put together a financial plan to address these pressing concerns:

Chad and his wife Janelle were both born and raised in Swift Current. Janelle is a Registered Nurse at the Swift Current hospital. They have two children, Leo MacLeod, who was born September 2016 and Maddison Macleod who was born April 2020. Chad and Janelle enjoy travelling and spending time with friends and family.
