Fraser Thom is a Senior Portfolio Manager with Harbourfront Wealth Counsel. He graduated from Queens University before beginning his career as an investment banking analyst with Scotia Capital in Vancouver, BC. Following a move to Ottawa, Ontario for family reasons, Fraser worked with an investment counsel firm with over $1B in AUM for foundation, endowments and high net worth individuals. Throughout his time he was managing clients fixed income portfolios and US and International equity portfolios. Fraser joined the Millar Private Wealth Management (“Millar Private”) in 2011 to be the lead portfolio manager for the investment business. Millar Private’s roots date back to the 1980s and they offer broad business and estate succession planning in addition to investment management for their high net worth individuals.

Fraser has been involved in the community in various capacities over many years and currently serves on the Investment Committee for the Royal Ottawa Hospital Foundation. In addition to his charitable initiatives, Fraser is an engaged father of three children and has volunteered as youth sports coach for much of the last decade.
