Don Lim, born and raised in Vancouver, graduated with a BA Economics from Simon Fraser University. Don completed the Personal Financial Planning course in 1999 and Don, Senior Investment Advisor, brings 25 plus years of industry experience with 8 of those years as a commodities trader with the largest global commodities firm in the world.

With 20 years as a Financial Planner with two of the biggest chartered banks, he is very passionate about working with high net worth families, individuals, trusts and corporate clients providing wealth management, retirement services and estate planning. Harbourfront Wealth Management Inc. is CIPF member (Canadian Investors Protection Fund) and clients have all protections available to Canadian investors under this program.

Don has been the recipient of numerous awards at the two chartered banks for most exceptional Financial Planner. Previously at a chartered bank, Don worked with Peter Szeto and together they achieved the top 1% of investment advisory teams in Canada – 10 years later, we join forces again in the Peter Szeto Investment Group. With our combined experience and complementary backgrounds, knowing how to navigate through all kinds of markets is so important, especially minimizing downside in a portfolio.

Don and his wife of over 23 years, have two wonderful daughters. Don keeps busy during his spare time with family activities such as hiking, golfing, cooking and soon to be learning piano.
