As CEO of Harbourfront Wealth Holdings, Danny is responsible for the business operations of Harbourfront Group’s five underlying businesses including its Investment Dealer, Asset Management Firm, and US investment arm.
- Danny launched Harbourfront in 2013 with an $11 million personal investment
- By 2022 the firm had its first monetization event at a $425M enterprise value when Audax Private Equity bought a stake.
- Just 3 yrs later, the firm’s assets have more than tripled to $16 Billion, across over 50 branches housing over 500 employees.
- The firm is on track to reach $25B by YE 2026 when the 2nd monetization is expected.
- Harbourfront has acquired 4 companies and has its 5th under LOI, in addition to its advisor recruiting program
Danny is also the Founder of the Harbourfront Gives Foundation (previously the Popescu Family Foundation) which raises money for a number of Canadian charities. The Harbourfront Gives Foundation has donated over 900K to over 100 charities as of January 2026.
