Philip Olsson is a Senior Portfolio Manager with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, not only as an investor but also as an investment banker—including his role as Vice Chairman of RBC Dominion Securities—as well as a commercial banker and private equity principal. Over the course of his career, Philip has developed strong convictions about how value is created and destroyed in the capital markets. As a founding partner at KJ Harrison Investors, he has applied those insights on behalf of clients, and his experience and wisdom continue to be an asset to all stakeholders at KJH Investors.

Philip is active in civic and government affairs and has served as Chair of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, as well as Chair of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation from November 2013 to November 2016.

When Philip is not in the office, he is often traveling or fly fishing with his wife Gayle, reading, or penning the latest edition of KJH Value Wines.
